Samsung PN64D7000
Samsung PN64D7000 series: improve from PNC7000 series on 2010. The PND8000 and PND7000 have the same panel, different from the lower-end models, and we assume of better quality. Improved contrast ratio compared with D6500 charcoal bezel compared with silver on PND8000. Both have the "Real Black Filter" for better black levels in high ambient light. Samsung electric says black levels have been improved significantly throughout the line, reaching the 0.004 FTL MLL we measured in the Panasonic VT25 from 2010. My preliminary take is that the PND7000 hits the performance/features sweet spot for videophiles and plasma fans.

The new Samsung PN64D7000, 1 inch larger screen retains many of the image features from 2010, it appears to be a case of not messing with a good thing. The "Real Black Filter" providing rich, deep blacks that enhance all the other colors sharing on the monitor. The realism and warmth that the images offers is nothing less than stunning.
For three dimension the PN64D7000 uses active shutter glasses and is Full high definition three dimension, sending 1080 lines of vertical resolution to each eye. Some televisions sacrifice some resolution to show three dimension images and Full three dimension HD provides the best three dimension experience.
Two dimension to three dimension conversion returns this year, we didn't find the feature that impressive but when something isn't shot with a three dimension Camera it's just not going to have the same three dimension effect.
